This document is basic model for digital preservation that can be applied to a wide variety of situations, different institutions and clearly defines the basic categories, called entities, of activities or policies that are essential for solid practices.

		+	This model will be helpful for figuring out what services are appropriate for CARLI to offer to member libraries and what elements the member libraries should take more responsibility for.

		+	3 services that look very appropriate for CARLI to provide are in the Data Management and Archival Storage entity.
